Lahore (Arshad Mahmood Ghuman) Chief of Defense Forces Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir says that there is a zero tolerance policy regarding threats to national security, and protecting sovereignty and territorial integrity is the first mission of the Pakistan Army. According to the ISPR, Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir visited the Lahore Garrison, on this occasion he was briefed on operational preparations.
According to the ISPR, the Field Marshal reviewed the training exercises organized by the formation. The Field Marshal emphasized on preparations and innovation for future wars and appreciated the sports and recreational facilities provided to the soldiers. According to the ISPR, the Field Marshal also visited the High Care Center at CMH Lahore. The Field Marshal praised the services of the medical staff and administration.
Addressing officers at the Lahore Garrison, Chief of Defense Forces Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir said that there is a zero tolerance policy regarding threats to national security, the Pakistan Army is determined to deal with all kinds of challenges, and protecting sovereignty and territorial integrity is the primary mission of the Pakistan Army.
The Field Marshal said that the armed forces of Pakistan are steadfast in protecting the country’s sovereignty, territorial integrity and internal stability. The forces are promoting high standards, discipline and selfless national service. The Chief of Defense Forces further said that the Pakistan Army has the full capacity to adapt to modern requirements, the physical fitness and morale of the soldiers is our priority.
