Karachi (TNI) Details of the federal government’s November 2025 debt have been revealed. According to the State Bank, the federal government borrowed Rs 573 billion in November 2025, after which the government’s debt was Rs 77,543 billion. The State Bank said that the government borrowed Rs 653 billion from the local level in November, while Rs 79 billion was paid in external debt in November.
In addition, the government’s debt has decreased by Rs345 billion in the first five months of the current fiscal year. According to the State Bank, from July to November, the government’s external debt has decreased by Rs492 billion, while domestic debt has increased by Rs147 billion.
